At Geniusology, we challenge every scholar to discover and walk in their genius by providing innovative supplemental instruction, facilitating accelerated enrichment instruction, and nurturing the whole child.
Geniusology strives to empower our scholars to positively influence and impact the world they live in. We envision our geniuses we instruct to live purpose-filled lives, be change agents in their communities, and solve local and global problems.
Our firm is rooted in Corey’s educational philosophy, inspired by Dr. Asa G. Hilliard’s powerful words: “I have never encountered any children in any group who are not geniuses. There is no mystery on how to teach them. The first thing you do is treat them like human beings and the second thing you do is love them.”
At Geniusology, this belief guides every aspect of our work. We see genius in every child, without exceptions and without reservations. Through an intensive curriculum anchored in gifted and creative educational practices, we nurture that brilliance, guide scholars in recognizing it within themselves, and create learning experiences that empower them to walk confidently in their genius every day.
At Geniusology, we define ability as the skills, strengths, and potential each child already carries within them. We also view desire as the natural curiosity, unwavering motivation, and personal drive that children bring to their learning when they feel seen, supported, and empowered. We believe every scholar is capable, not just of doing something well, but of growing, achieving, and thriving when given the right opportunities, appropriate challenges, and consistent encouragement.
Our work is built on this conviction. Through an innovative curriculum, intentional social-emotional learning, and an engaging, strengths-based environment, we nurture both the ability and the desire within every genius so they can flourish in every area of their development.
There are countless statistics showing how gender, race, and other factors influence achievement. At Geniusology, we acknowledge these realities, yet we hold a core belief: attitude is the primary driver of achievement. A student’s attitude significantly influences their effort, and effort ultimately informs results. When a child approaches learning with a negative attitude and limited effort, the outcomes reflect that mindset.
That is why we prioritize cultivating a positive, empowered attitude in every scholar. Through intentional growth mindset activities and daily practices, we help students build confidence, resilience, and ownership of their learning. When attitudes shift, effort increases and achievement follows.
